The Monastery of St John the Theologian (Ιερά Μονή του Αγίου Ιωάννου του Θεολόγου) is a historic Orthodox monastery on the island of Patmos, in the Dodecanese, Greece. Founded in 1088, it stands in the island's old capital (Chora) and is linked by tradition to the cave where the Apostle John is believed to have received the visions of the Book of Revelation.
